We miss the reign of the supermodels. We're talking '90s here, when cover girls were actually cover girls (aka models, not celebrities) and supermodels were the talk of every big town around the globe. Though it's hard to pick a favorite, Amber Valletta is one. You could call her the original '90s supermodel as she pretty much spearheaded the movement as the grunge muse to Marc Jacobs for Perry Ellis. She's covered countless covers and fronted a gazillion of campaigns since, not to mention become an actress in her own right (we LOVE her on Revenge!), and she's one of 16 models to grace the latest cover of i-D magazine in an epic ode to "Role Models". We love the accompanying shoot with set design by Gerard Santos featuring weathered walls and sultry violet silk. It also features Amber looking better than ever...
