Jack Flanagan's Towering Sets for Mercedes-Benz

Fashion. Speed. Normally, we'd pair these two words with an uptempo catwalk strut but they're also apt where Mercedes Benz and Mario Testino are concerned. The luxury car company and fashion photographer joined forces on a new commercial starring model Joan Smalls. With set design by Jack Flanagan featuring a warehouse full of wrapped objects—from the actual car and mohawk-topped Smalls to towering boxes and an errant harp—the results unfold like a vintage Thierry Mugler dream.
