Chime Serra Blooms for Converse

It seems the best installations these days are of the interactive variety. One of our favorites of the summer involved the simplicity of summer blooms in a raw space... oh, and the flowers were free for the taking. The work of Converse shoes and set/production designer Chime Serra saw the inside of an empty New York store front filled with dozens of bright flowers emblazoned with a transparent Converse sneaker sticker. The kicker was that the blooms were to be approached, smelled, and then taken by anyone and everyone who happened to pop by. We love the accompanying video of the project as well as the random urban locales made livelier by the gratis greenery.
