Hilary Duff,


Duff began dating singerAaron Carter in 2001. They met on the sets of Lizzie McGuire, during Carter’sguest appearance in a Christmas episode. The relationship lasted two years. Itwas reported that Carter left Duff for Lindsay Lohan, but soon broke up withLohan and resumed dating Duff. Carter later stated that he also cheated on Duffwith her best friend, and that Duff “got her heart broken” and he was “sorry”for his actions. On March 23, 2007, Claymation facsimiles of Duff and Lohanappeared on the celebrity wrestling series Celebrity Death Match episode“Where’s Lohan?”. Duff and Lindsay Lohan were later reported to have beeninvolved in a “feud” with each other over their relationship with Carter. In2007, Duff and Lohan had reconciled. Lohan attended the release party for Duff’salbum Dignity and Duff told People magazine that she thought Lohan was “fun”and “a nice girl”.
Hilary Duff's acting andsinging career took off in 2003 with appearances in three movies and a Top 40hit, "So Yesterday" (from her debut solo album, Metamorphosis). Duffwas already a star by way of the title role in the successful television seriesLizzie McGuire  (2001-03) on the DisneyChannel. After filming The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), she left the TV showfor a career on the big screen, and her busy year included the releases ofAgent Cody Banks (with Frankie Muniz) and Cheaper By The Dozen (with SteveMartin), as well as the production of A Cinderella Story (with Chad MichaelMurray as her Prince Charming) and Raise Your Voice, both in 2004. She releasedher second album, Hilary Duff in 2004, and in 2005 released Most Wanted, acollection of hits and remixes. Her other film credits include Cheaper by theDozen 2 (2005), Material Girls (2006, with Hilary's older sister, Haylie Duff),and What Goes Up (2009). In 2009 she also began a recurring role on the TVseries Gossip Girl. Hilary Duff married hockey player Mike Comrie on 14 August2010.
