Ezra Miller Stands Out in 'Paper' Magazine

This is going to be Ezra Miller's year. We're not the only ones who think so, either. After mass critical (and audience) acclaim for his role as a psychopath-in-the-making in last year's We Need to Talk About Kevin to a much talked about turn in the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the young actor is on the rise. We won't even go into the kind of teenage fandom attention he gets on the internet, but rest assured it's fanatical and sometimes involves the worshipping of his armpit hair. (Google it.)

In the latest issue of Paper magazine, Miller graces the cover in red lipstick, women's fall RTW, and red lipstick. Shot by Autumn de Wilde and styled by Shirley Kurata he dons everything from Comme des Garcons to Anna Sui and Creatures of the Wind. Cash Lawless styled his mass of black curls in variety of ways—coiffed updos, accessorized with plastic barrettes, or simply relaxed and unfettered. The results are arresting yet playful and both whimsical and serious at the same time.
